You know, it never ceases to amaze me what an awesome actor
Wes Studi is. His portrayal of historic Native American figures, such as Geronimo does his race proud. I'd love to meet him someday...him, Graham Greene (the actor, not the writer), and Adam Beech. All wonderful, talented Native American actors, and I believe Tony Hillerman would be proud

But before, there must have been some movie where Wes played a "bad" Native American, because when I see that face, my first thought is, 'Bad guy!'. Of course, I now know different and can truly appreciate his skill and even see humor, not evil behind those wise eyes and lined face. I'm loving 'A Thief of Time', and then I have 'Skinwalkers' and 'Coyote Waits' to watch (he plays the same character, Joe Leaphorn, and does it very well. I'd pictured Graham Greene in the role when first listening to the book, but since Graham plays Slick Nakai, it kinda puts that thought off, and Wes does Leaphorn proud.
I think I'm going to look up (yet again, because I didn't have this appreciation for Wes back then) all of his and Graham's movies up on Netflix and have myself a pow-wow with some popcorn! You wanna come over and watch? *big grin*
