Maybe you should be working for Baseball Tonight....

I think the Dems should start holding their Convention either in NYC, or someplace that doesn't have a team, like Pheonix.

Yeah. It was a joke. I was debating between them and Detroit, but Detroit is doing better. I should have said Milwaukie.

Too bad the Cardinals are in the first year of their great dynasty. The Padres and the rest of the league are just going to have to wait :)

Hey man, I'll agree with that... I was touting them to friends two years back as becoming a force to be reckoned with, just as I called the Florida championship to roommates 3 years ago (they can tell you, they still remember)... But I got bad news for all ya'll cause the brew-wrecking-crew is only two years away from the playoffs as well (two names to remember, prince fielder and rickie weeks)... Look out in 2006. That's right even with the cards, cubs, and astros in their division I'm predicting playoffs. Go to vegas and get your money down now...

Yeah, I remember getting excited about the Pads's pitching potential a few years ago. They are the real deal.

I dunno about the Brewers. I do believe they have some potential for the future, but I think, given the division they're in, the Devil Rays may have even more hope. Age that lineup a bit and toss in some quality pitching, Steinbrenner's going to have fits.
