Hi there! So Carolyn's Agency totally called me to be background in the movie "It's a Boy Girl Thing". I was nervous at first, but then it turned out to be a really easy and fun experience! I'm making money and they're feeding us while I'm on the set of an actual movie with a budgets of millions! To top all of this, Samaire Armstrong, who played "Anna" on The O.C. is the lead! I got to see her in real life! Let me tell you something, it was just shocking. The other lead is some guy from "Air Bud". He seemed to be arrogant, but really I don't know him so what can I say. It turns out they could've done my hair and makeup, but I decided to do it myself. Saves a lot of time and energy. It really was awesome. A couple times I felt a little exhausted, but then I totally got my energy back somehow. I will never forget this! Ironic enough, it was at a high school called Westdale in Hamilton (in gr.7 and 8 I had the same name for my school here).
Anyways, this Friday is my 18th Birthday!! I'm going to spend it with Janina and Anthony. Then Janina and me are going to try and sleepover again at Grandma's even though we will leave the next morning. Oh well. Better than nothing.
I totally am fine with working at Club Roma now, that's the strange thing. Right when I might have to resign. I'll wait a little longer, probably until the end of the year.
I'm thinking of applying to Brock University for a couple courses to try it out and see if it's something I want to do. Even if it turns out it's not for me, it wouldn't be a waste, it would be something productive I would do anyways!
So my sister did give me an Amazon gift certificate, but only for the American site. At first I didn't like it, but then I found a Due South book that was only available there for a good price so then I liked it. I also ordered the official Charmed book, but then decided to cancel it and get my sister the Alias calendar she wants instead.
This is crazy, but there's one other Due South book that's even better, but there was only three copies available in the world, and they were only on the Amazon UK website. I was thinking of getting the one for 12 pounds. A couple days later, I got to buy it, and it's gone! The only two left are 34 pounds! That's like over $70 dollars! I'm getting desparate, so I ask my dad and he absoloutely refuses, saying it's ridiculous. So then a little while later I joke to him about using my next paycheque on it and he laughs.
Then, another couple days later only me and my sister are home. Before asking her, I tell her that she is completely free to say no to my request. But she agrees, as long as I pay back every penny. Diana doesn't even ask what it is! The only details I told her is that I'm afraid the item will be gone soon, and I am. So it turns out, out of the two copies left, only one can be shipped internationally. So I grab it. It says it should ship within 1 or 2 days. What I failed to realize is that although it'll ship, how long before delivery? So anytime now until the beginning of November. Same with my other Due South book and Alias calendar. It turns out I had to pay extra shipping! Like, the two from the States cost $8.00 U.S. extra! And from the UK, 7 pounds which would be like $15 dollars extra! So the UK charge would be like $90, for a book! Am I crazy or what!?
P.S. I totally forgot how much I love OTH. And Nathan and Haley. But the dumb thing is the cast was on the cover of Teen People a couple months ago. Argh, I should have got it! Grrr.
