...Driving!
So I've had my G1 for a looooong time. The reason I never went for my G2 was because we didn't want to start paying insurance when I don't drive often and I don't have a car. Also, I didn't want to get my G2 until I went to driving school so I would have proper instruction and a discount on insurance.
I was going to hold off until there was a real need for me to be a driver, but some of the rules have changed. If I want my license, I need my G2 this fall in order to get my full G by next fall (otherwise it'll expire and I would have to start the whole process over, waiting all those years out again)!
This is all very last minute. I may enroll in Driving School this week if things work out. I wanted to go to a certain one, but they aren't having any classes until the middle of September and it would be two full weekends (two Saturdays and Sundays) as well as hours of one-on-one driving/training time with an instructor. I rather get it done before I go back to school. and obviously this week is my only option.
I know shouldn't worry because I know I'm fine at driving, but it's still nerve-wracking since I'll have to take the test soon! I'm definitely going to do it before the winter, and hopefully, even before my birthday so I'm still not worrying about it then!
