\\So hey guys, sorry about the complete lack of posts. This is the first time I've been on the internet in a barely bearable length of time. Virginia is its usual fabulous, boring self. I can't say I miss much about Florida. So... I started my job yesterday because the prick manager kept pushing my days off the schedule. I worked an eight hour shift with this girl Jacqueline. She's beautiful and makes me feel so very inferior.
I went to a Bridal Shower on Saturday and it was hilarious. The only two people under fifty were the bride-to-be and myself. She met her fiance through Young Life. They swapped stories of how they met their husbands and the best cookbooks. I don't really fit in, but I must say that the conventional functional family setting is really quite enjoyable.
I can't wait to get paid. I already got my check from my other job, which is great because I'm leaving for Georgia this evening and I can't stand being on a vacation in a vacation and not having money. So... I'm staying in Pine Mountain, Georgia. Every three years we have a family reunion down there in which we congregate at my Great Uncle Frank's house.. which is this immense amount of property. Then my grandmother and her sisters rent this nice Inn and the visiting members on the family stay there. We're arriving two days early and Dad, Athena, and I are going into Atlanta for a day. It's too bad I'm the only one in my age group that isn't bumpkin. Damn. And I'm going to be aesthetically drained... what culture is available in a small southern town centered around family? Ugh. Let's get this over with... maybe I'll have some good fishing/golfing stories when I come back.
I used some of my step-mom's nail polish... and it is the brightest fushcia... fantastic color really. She laughed at me. Ihopelifeisgreatandpeoplestillrememberme. My phone is on. Call me! Don't forget the area code.//
