Halloween's coming

We took James and Abby out. James was a bottle of organic milk (with a red cap) and Abby was a farmer. I can't find the cable that downloads the pictures from my camera, but as soon as I do I'll post pictures. We met three friendly neighbors. Turns out there's a neighbor with three girls age 2, 3, and 4 years. Plus a one-month-old boy. Wow! They were very nice and friendly, and invited us to drop by. (Hahaha! Little did they know I plan to take them up on it.)

Took James to the doctor today. Four years and I've never taken him to the doctor except for regular check-ups (unless you count the er visit for a pinched finger. What can I say. He's my first.) But his nose has been running from one nostril for almost a month, and my sister suggested there might be something up there. James said no, but.. The doctor did pull out a large wad of *extremely* disgusting kleenex. Be glad I didn't bring my camera so I could share it with you. We sometimes put twists of kleenex in his nose for nosebleeds, and you can bet we're not going to do that anymore. So no more runny nose.

Some quick quotes:

Abby to Daddy: "Hey! That be-longs in the crayon bowl, not in your ear." (Yes he did have a crayon in his ear. Don't ask me why. My husband can be a little weird.)

James to Mommy: "That's what I was doing in the kitchen. I was investigating the noise from the teapot."
