(no subject)
why hello there. I suck. I never write in here. I'm too introverted lately.
Everything is good. I'm halfway through winter quarter. I'm taking a film studies class, Political law (civil rights and liberties) and Political Philosophy (readings on Rousseau, Hobbes, Locke, and Machiavelli) Rousseau's writing is amazing, I love his theories, Machiavelli was interesting too. I hate reading Hobbes though, it's so irritating, and way too much about God and religion. Ugh. I was supposed to have read 3 chapters by today's class and I just don't want to! Shut up Hobbes. You got it wrong! ALL wrong!!!
Um ended Fall quarter with 3.6 GPA again.. I swear one B always plagues me every quarter I can never just get all A's. It's so annoying.
Es is good. He had a great Christmas. I got him his first laptop, and a Roku. he also got a mini ipod, some new clothes and shoes, and his uncle (my brotherinlaw) gave him $100, which he used for a little shopping spree at Target. Es does good in school aside from wanting to talk all the time, the teacher isn't so happy with that and it's something he'll need to learn to control in social settings. He literally always has to be talking, it's crazy because I am so opposite.
I'm having trouble staying consistent on the exercising bit. I do so good on breaks but once school starts it gets sporadic. But I am almost completely done with this Bachelor's Degree. After this quarter (which ends next month) I will only need 1 more class and then I'm DONE!! No more undergrad school, no more UCSD, all done!
So after that I am going to apply to graduate school for a Masters (not sure what will happen with that yet) also going to go back to City college and get a 2nd associates in Spanish. I really just want to become completely fluent and efficiently write Spanish grammatically correct. I'll need just 4 classes to get the degree (because all the rest of the classes I've done already) and by the end of it I figure I'll be decently fluent.
