Another weekend comes to an end...
So the concert I went to on Wednesday was amazing. I mean it wasn't really like a "concert", it was at a small venue, only a couple hundred people or so. I guess it was more of a show than a concert..But I wasn't expecting their performance to impact me the way that it did... and now I think I am slightly obsessed with them.. the main singer mostly.. and not obsessed in a groupie kinda way cause it's not like I want to jump his bones or anything, I just want him to put me in his pocket and carry me around with him everywhere. lol and I know that sounds crazy, I wish I could descripe it in another way, but I can't... and I was in such a good mood for the rest of the week after I saw them. They seriously brightened up my entire week... I left right after they performed. Didn't even stay to see the headlining bands. Also bought an autographed CD. They played in Pomona & LA, and seriously I would have driven all the way up there both nights to see them again, but I had Es, plus it was Jackie's birthday on Friday.. Oh and this new guy came with me to see them. The date was ok. No major sparks.. he is not the typical guy I am attracted to, but thats ok... It also turns out he has not had to work since 2005, cause his grandma died and left him a trust or something.. don't know how much but it must be a lot if he hasn't had to work in over 3 years.. we are supposed to meet for dinner this week sometime.. I don't see this heading anywhere but I have to try. I have to stop being so picky and finding faults with every man I come across, and give it time. Give it more than a couple hours and 1 date.
anywho.. Thursday ran errands, did nails, went shopping, took Es to dinner, cleaned house a bit... Friday was Jackies birthday, so around 7 I dropped off Es with his grandma, then met up with Jackie, Rosana, Blanca, and Jakie's brother.. we predrank.. and even though I had put us on the list for Red Circle, & club Envy, it didn't matter cause we missed the 10:30 guestlist deadline :(
wound up at Stingaree, which is a really nice club, some would say the best in San Diego, but I don't like the crowd there at all. A lot of older, white rich men.. women that look wealthy and stuck up.. it just has this whole snooty vibe that I wasn't diggin... anyways after that we went to Rock Bottom.. saw a parrot on a skateboard (seriously. i have pictures), danced, had fun.. overall was a good night.. we didn't do our original plan and go to Hollywood. Jackie didn't really want to, and she's the birthday girl, so what she says goes! We'll probably go sometime in December...
Yesterday me and my sister took our kids to see Madagascar 2. I've been waiting for this movie for months! It was pretty good.. not sure if it was as good as the 1st one, but I loved it..
Today didn't do much, me and Es went to church then we met up with Jackie and we watched the Charger game down at he Whiskey Girl. Was a pretty awesome game..
anyways guys.. I've gotta figure out what to make for dinner. ttfn.
