Another bright new year..

Well happy new year everyone!!

A new year, new goals, new expectations, new smiles and laughs and hugs. 2005 was a year of Surprise for me. I was surprised to once follow through on a resolution. To find a good job, and not just settle for anything like I had always done. I did that, and then surprised myself again with learning to be away from my son, to trust in others enough to let someone else take care of him. I was surprised to see that my marriage could grow stronger and fuller. I know my husband loves me and I him, but I did not expect to be what we are today, to live so completely and peacefuly together, to not ever fight or argue, and to simply enjoy each others company. So in all reality I am surprised but delighted at the level of comfort and happiness I am in my life. Like with every passing year, I will miss 2005, it holds a lot of family memories, days at the Zoo, balboa Park, Sea World, Wild Animal park, and weekend outings together, but I am also blessed and thankful to have spent another year with the ones I love and look so much forward to an even better, richer, happier new year. I have 2 resolutions this year. Wont' say what they are because they are personal to me, but also whenever I tell everyone what it is, I never follow through..

In other news. Jacob had to close on new years eve so were weren't able to leave here until he came home and got ready so when we hit the road it was nearly midnight. But we did make it to Mirna's party, we had to take esmond since we didn't have a sitter, but that was okay because I stayed sober, wanted to start the new year with my baby anayways, and also Mirna had a play room so Esmond had fun playing. Even though Jacob went not knowing any of those people I went to highschool with, he had a great time and got pretty drunk, taking shots with David. so thanks for inviting us Mirna! It was fun.

well My Beef Stew is just about done so I'm going to go back to the kitchen. Again Happy New year everyone, I hope this coming year for you all is prosperous and joyful.
