Hello everyone!
So today I'm going to share with you a selection of beauty products that I will be taking with me to Malaysia and Singapore.
MAKE-UP:
So I have completely and utterly fallen in love with this foundation. Charmaine recommended it to me and said it gives you a healthy glow that makes you look more awake (which was very useful for 9AM lectures when you feel like you want to die).
I decided to pick another Rimmel foundation up yesterday. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet (I'm saving it for the trip) but it does have a higher SPF than both the Wake Me Up foundation and my Garnier BB Cream (see below).
I started wearing BB Cream last year, I mainly wore if I was working when I wanted more coverage (before I would just put concealer under my eyes). Now that I've tried foundation, I prefer wearing a foundation but I've watched a bunch of YouTube videos about holiday makeup and most of the recommend wearing a BB or CC Cream, so I'm taking this one out to see how it fares.
I picked up this setting powder with the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation yesterday. Again, I haven't tried it out but as it's transparent (when applied to the skin) and it has natural minerals (which is supposed to stop make-up from running in hot climates) so I'll be trying it out in Malaysia and Singapore.
I bought the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush when I bought my Wake Me Up foundation and I absolutely adore this brush! The brush is incredibly soft, and although it is not a foundation brush, I think it does a fantastic job at applying foundation. I'd highly recommend this to anyone.
I picked this up on the weekend. It is by Maybelline and it's a really good gel-cream eyeshadow. I remember I swatched this on my palm and it did not budge!
I remember getting a sample of Benefit's POREfessional when I ordered some Christmas presents from Boots online and I gave the sample a try and I was struck by how good it is at reducing the appearance of pores. I got this mini size from a little gift box at Boots that comes with mini Bad Gal mascara and Posietint.
This is the travel bag I'm taking with me. I'm putting it in my cabin baggage.
(This is upside down. Whoops). This is the bag shown above. i got it from Primark and I think it was £4.
Last item. On some beauty videos on YouTube, they'd been raving about using sheet masks whilst on the plane. I've used this quite a few times and it's supposed to bring moisture back to your face. I'm going to need quite a few of these because during my trip I'll be going on a total of 9 flights!!
