Sorry for the amount of time that it took for me to get this out (maybe it wasn't that long, but it felt like a lifetime to me). First, I've been busy because my boyfriend got surgery on his knee since he tore his ACL earlier this year. And secondly, I thought I had ruined my game and would have to start over for a bit. I accidentally left boolprop on and it gave me a pop up message and when I clicked cancel it wouldn't go away so I hit delete and well... that wasn't the right choice. Luckily for me, I installed the patches and that fixed it somehow. It must have replaced the file that had gotten deleted. Anyway, the second thing that I am sorry for is the amount of pictures. There were even more but I cut some out. Sorry. Now on with the story!
Some people may wonder why a guy like me decided to move into a place such as Canterbury Cove, a place where I would be the only resident, a place where my businesses had a small chance of flourishing. The answer is simple, I like a challenge, and I knew that once I got my business going that I could become a huge success because I would control the whole market. I had little to leave behind when I came to Canterbury Cove, so I had no regrets, and it wouldn't hurt me if I failed, but I knew that I wouldn't.
What I didn't count on was that moving to Canterbury Cove was going to be the best thing that I had ever done in my life. I met my beautiful wife Jackie, the most wonderful woman I have ever met.

What was even more unexpected though, was the birth of our quadruplets, Abrianna, Adam, Becca, and Bennett. Now that they are a part of my life though, I can hardly imagine it without them. They are all a blessing and I love them so much.

Because I am a Fortune sim, I do spend a lot of time at both of my businesses, Club Carnahan and Electric Avenue. However, since I have been having more success with Electric Avenue, I find myself working there more often.

However, I still find plenty of time to help my wife with the kids and help them to grow and to learn.
It seems to me that things in our house are still always breaking. My wife said she wants to encourage our children to be lazy, that way they will just hire a repairman to do it.
"There aren't any repairmen in Canterbury Cove, darling." I said to her as I watched her whack the faucet with her wrench, but she just shook her head.

At first, when Jackie and I had to plant our garden we felt it would be a burden but as our skill in gardening improved we actually found it relaxing and enjoyable and all of the food that we made seemed to taste infinitely better than before.

The next time that I went back to my shop, I realized that it was getting too busy for just me to work there so I hired a man named Tracy Crane to work the cash register while I handled the sales and the restocking. He seemed like a really great guy and it turns out that he is pretty fun to work with.
I was really worried when I saw this woman with her clipboard furiously scribbling down this notes as she wandered around my shop. But it turns out that she really liked the place.
She told me, "Your business is so great. I love how it's small but you have so much to offer. I am going to write you a good review in the paper and I would like to award you this Best of the Best Award." I was quite honored.

And with the good reviews more customers poured in which helped my business to get better and allowed Tracy to get better with handling the cash register.
When I came home, my wife Jackie showed me something that she had been working on for a long time.
"It's wonderful!" I exclaimed when I saw it. I had always known that she had artistic talent, but I didn't know she was that good.
"I wanted to give you something that we could hang in our household for ever and all the generations to come can see it and remember the wonderful founder of Canterbury Cove."
I smiled and gave her a hug.
"Thank you."
(I missed it but she nabbed the TV.)
Later that night my wife woke me up with panic in her voice. "I think I hear something. It sounds like someone is in the house."
I got out of bed and turned on the light and saw someone sneak into our bathroom. I immediately ran to the phone to call the police.
I told the lady that I had called the police and that she had better leave. She just laughed and went on to steal the couch and then our rug.
When the policewoman arrived I felt a sense of relief until...
they proceeded to get into a fight in my kitchen! I was worried. What would happen if the policewoman lost?
There was no reason for me to have worried though. She handled the criminal with no problem and then escorted her to her car to be taken off to jail. I hope that the burglar learned her lesson, but I highly doubt it.
We received some money from our insurance for the stolen items but...

I was shocked when my children told me that they hoped the burglar died.
I told them, "You shouldn't wish bad things on other people. What you should do is hope that she learns from what she did and changes her ways and becomes a better person." I'm not so sure that they understand that though.
I did my best to replace what we had lost, but the memory still stuck around.
As if the burglary wasn't enough, the next night when I was working at Electric Avenue, a light outside caught on fire after it was hit by lightning during a storm.

Luckily it was put out quickly by the rain and my business did not suffer from it.
My wife is really fortune minded, just as I am, so as a surprise I bought her a pet shop named Purrfect Pets. With the kids growing up she really didn't need to be home all day anymore and I knew that she would love to run her own business.

Even though Electric Avenue made more money for me, I still liked to spend time at my club. It was a lot of fun to get to hang out with the people there.

My kids were growing and learning right before my eyes. Soon they would be old enough to go to high school and get after school jobs if they wanted and maybe even... start dating.
It was a scary thought, but I was glad that I had Jackie there with me to help me through it all.
Because of all the fresh produce that we had, I started eating more because it all tasted so good. However, it wasn't doing good things for my figure.
So I started eating a bit less, and worked out more and found myself in better shape rather soon.
While I focused on getting my weight back on track, Jackie focused more on her art. When she got to painting like that she seemed to be "in the zone". Like not even an earthquake could distract her.
"I know that since there are no hospitals around here that if we do this, I will have a chance of getting pregnant. Would you care if we were to have another child?" Jackie asked me one night as we were snuggling on our bed.
"No, I wouldn't mind so much." I said as I pulled her in for a kiss.
It turns out that she didn't get pregnant, but it was probably for the best. We are not getting any younger.
And neither were our children. Before I knew it, it was time for them to become teens. To celebrate the event I invited the neighbors and some other friends of mine.

I couldn't believe they were so grown up. Next thing I know they are going to be moving out and having families of their own. Considering they are my children, they all turned out so beautiful and handsome. They of course, got it all from their mother.
(Rank Nine)
Having such mature children made me feel old so I spent more time at my business, trying to make it as much of a success as I could so that one day I could pass it on to Adam, who I hope will be willing to take everything over and continue to live in our house and carry on our name.

Adam and Becca surprised me one day when they told me that they had read about anger management in order to get rid of the hatred that they harbored for Lexi, the burglar. I was so proud of them.
