(no subject)
it's been a LONG time since i've journaled. i not such a steady journaler, which is too bad cause a lot of things are going on these days. i think i consider my mom my walking living journal, cause i call her most days and give her an update on the exciting things going on in life. ......i'm pretty sure this stems from nightly accountability (reporting to my district leader nightly) from the mish.
anyways! last i updated i'm pretty sure i hated life. i wasn't too happy to be home at all last semester, and i don't think i enjoyed life one bit in all 4 months of last semester. i was frozen, didn't get along with my roommates, missed having a companion, and adjusting to the stress of (what people call) normal life was ...beyond frustrating. i was finding myself again, and it was tough. i got some awesome grades though :)
THIS SEMESTER! can i even tell you about this semester??? oh my goodness where do i start? i really don't even know where. this semester was incredible. it feels nice to have some joy in life again (i really was miserable post mission for a while).
there's so much to write about. so much i def want to remember:
my awesome amazing calling as R.S. pres, my INCREDIBLE sisters, the really inspired activities we had, and the awesome unified ward we had.
the surprisingly powerful experience of (hesitantly) giving a talk on fathers day for the third year in a row
joining student government, and being put in charge of a project that became VERY reputable and ...pretty impressive if i can say, which i will.
increasing my student gov involvement and campus involvement
recognizing enough faces to say hello to a million people while just walking to class... just makes you happy :)
my awesome awesome FHE brothers
one FHE brother in particular... ;)
a friend from jersey that somehow ended up in my bio class :)
making new friends in general
my relationship with my mom evolving into something really amazing. i don't think i've ever appreciated or loved her like i do now.
boys in general. yeah, they're been pretty interesting this semester... :)
anyways for Lola's sake (and for my own journaling sake) i'll stretch these out and write separate (probably very VERY long posts) on each ha ha...
but in short, life is great, and i have loads to be thankful for. i've been blessed a lot. i've been loving life this semester :)
