Oliver...? Oliver! Are you alright? How do you feel?

[oliverplus]

[smiles reassuringly] I'm all right now! Don't worry.

Who is this, by the way? [he has a guess, but he figures that's safer than guessing and getting it wrong]

[dawnward]

It's Riku.

Are you sure you're alright? Your condition wasn't...very good, even after I healed the surface injuries.

[oliverplus]

Oh, Riku! Thanks again for your help. I'm gonna take you out sometime for sure!

[frowns, trying to sound reassuring] Yeah, I'm sure. When I switched to Lyle's body, none of my physical injuries came with me. [the mental ones did, but what Riku doesn't know can't hurt him?]

[dawnward]

Hm? Oh no, that's not necessary. I'm fine.

That's...odd, but I'm grateful. We've been worried about you.

[oliverplus]

So? We should go out anyway!

[frowns] I know. Sorry about that, but I'm okay now, really!

[dawnward]

I'll be the judge of that once we can get some diagnostics on your condition. I might be able to coerce the doctor bot into giving us records of any tests it performs.

[oliverplus]

Yeah! Why not? Unless you'd rather wait?

[deer-in-headlights look. very quickly] Well, uh, the Doctor's already been keeping an eye on me. He's the one who said I could leave the hospital level.

[dawnward]

I think I would rather wait. That is, if you don't mind.

But I don't think the Doctor is the same as a physician. There might be things wrong that he and I can't detect. We shouldn't take any chances.

[oliverplus]

Nah, this is for you! I can wait. But I won't forget!

[sighs] Well, if it would make you feel better... But really, Riku, I don't have any physical injuries now--just a headache.

[dawnward]

Okay, sure. I think that's alright.

Just a headache could mean a lot of things. You should take better care of yourself, anyway.

[oliverplus]

[frowns, very uncomfortable with this sort of conversation] I think you all have already done everything that could be done. And the headache's just a sign that I hit my head; that's all.

[dawnward]

[he's frowning, too, but they're under enough pressure already. he's willing to let this slide, at least for now] Just let us know if you start feeling any different, okay? Either in this body or your own.

[oliverplus]

I will. And don't worry, when I'm back in my own body, I'll get checked out again. [because he has a feeling that, even if he can somehow convince Riku to let him off the hook, the Doctor won't]

[dawnward]

I'd like to be there when you do, if you don't mind. [oh ho, not letting you off the hook THAT easily]

[oliverplus]

Oh...yeah, sure. Just let the Doctor know. [tries to keep his look embarrassed rather than worried] He thinks I'm probably going to pass out when I switch back to my body, so I might miss a few things at first. [quickly] But he says he can wake me up, so it'll be temporary!
