[jumps] Whoa, Lyle! Uh...yeah. [blinks] How's it even broadcasting this?

Ollie, who's that? Is that...alien technology?

Honestly, I have no idea. [grins at Chloe] You must be Chloe, right?

[oliverplus]

[she glances at Oliver] You have told everybody, haven't you?

[Oliver looks sheepish] It may have come up now and then.

[she shakes her head] Yeah, I'm Chloe. And you?

Chloe, this is my friend Lyle. You're not gonna believe this, but he pilots a giant robot! [he waves his hands in an approximation of scale]

[snorts and rolls his eyes, grinning] Somehow I think I should have known that that would be the first thing out of your mouth.

Well, it's true! It's like Transformers, Chloe! Well, without the transforming. At least, I don't think they transform.

Well, one of them does. Sort of.

[blinks] Really!? What's it do!?

{Chloe rolls her eyes] Don't mind him, Lyle. He could do this for hours. But it's nice to meet you!

[not_that_lockon]

[smiles in amusement, ignoring Oliver for now just to tease him] Don't I know it. Nice to meet you too.

[pouts] Hey, what's that supposed to mean?

[Chloe pats his knee] There there, Ollie. Don't worry, we love you for your flaws.

But...it's a giant transforming robot! Why am I the only one excited about this!?

Because I work with the guy who pilots it?

[oliverplus]

[scoffs] What, and he somehow manages to make that less-than-exciting?

[not_that_lockon]

No, just a little bit more everyday and ordinary.

[oliverplus]

It's a GIANT. TRANSFORMING. ROBOT. What could possibly be "everyday" or "ordinary" about it? You still haven't told me what it does!
