[yesterday, Oliver was finally able to banish his nightmare and sleep properly again, but one good night's sleep couldn't make up for all that deprivation, and he decides to take a nap the next afternoon, too tired to wait for nightfall. he takes the Doctor's suggestion, curling up on a padded bench on level 15, and falls into a peaceful sleep-- ( Read more... )

Gandalf! Um...you probably don't have that film on your planet. Sorry. He has very nice silver hair. Before Moria, anyway, but that's rather beside the point. I just meant you're handsome. Do many people have silver hair on your world, then?

[Oliver's eyes widen, and he immediately pulls her into a hug] No, I'm not! That's not what I meant. We were talking about...something with the sphere. Right, Riku?

[gives Riku a grateful look, holding Chloe for a moment more before he pulls back, trying to sound natural] Sorry, Riku. I'm being rude! Uh...have I told you about Chloe before?

[Chloe still looks a bit dubious, but a faint smile touches her lips] I'm starting to get the impression you've told everyone.

[she elbows him again] You're daft.

Well, yeah, but you knew that. Riku, Chloe's been waiting for me here on Earth while I've been travelling with the Doctor.

Yeah, two months, and all I get is a mad e-mail!

[she's teasing, but Oliver frowns, squeezing her hand] Sorry.

[she frowns back at him] Ollie, I said it's okay. And don't think I haven't figured out that it's been more than two months for you. Look at all these people you've met!
