Hey. [as the sphere comes on, Oliver gives a wave with a bandaged hand, grinning for anyone who might be watching the broadcast. however, his condition is no laughing matter after
this, and even his grin is marred by a grimace--just making that expression hurts. he is in a bed on the hospital level, bandages wrapped around his forehead and over the back of his head, his face badly bruised, and his left arm in a sling. his upper arm on the right side is bandaged, as well as his right hand, and the rest of the arm is almost as bruised as his face. the sheets on the bed and his hospital gown cover any additional injuries, but considering the pillows propped behind him as he sits, he can't be feeling very good]
Uh...if you've been in your room and maybe missed it, the ship's gotten really dangerous again. Those creatures going around now... [he cringes, his expression slipping] They can't be other people. They're just creatures, and they're dangerous. Everybody be careful, okay? Don't go anywhere alone--especially not up to that new level. They're crawling all over it.
Anyway, I'm doing this because the Doctor told me to. Looks like I'm gonna be stuck here for a bit. [he sighs, clearly not fond of this idea. he throws a glance at something out of view of the sphere and then makes a face at the response he receives] But the Doctor needs to get back to searching the engineering section while it's still open. And since those creatures could go anywhere, well...is there anybody out there who wouldn't mind paying us a visit in the hospital? [scratches his head, looking away from the sphere as he says this; he feels terribly awkward making that request] You know, since I'm such a danger magnet and all. [tries to make that comment come off as a joke, but he grimaces when he forces a smile, and it's even more fake than usual]
[he lets go of the expression, turning back to the sphere and growing serious again] In any case, whatever you do, just stay safe.
