Sonic Vision
Something that may be of interest to some of my friends:
Horizon (the planetarium at Scitech) will be showing Sonic Vision for one week in May (9th to 15th or possibly 8th to 14th). Sonic Vision is "a rolloercoaster of music and visuals" featuring music from Coldplay, U2, Queens of the Stone Age and Audioslave; plus some electronica acts like Boards of Canada and Goldfrapp (the selection is hand-picked by Moby). You can get some idea of what it will be like here.
I'm planning on going sometime midweek (likely to be Tuesday or Wednesday, but possibly another night depending on when other people want to go), and can get hold of cheaper tickets (base price is $10, I can get tickets for $8 but I'm not sure how many). The show runs for about an hour, starting at 8pm. It also includes an astronomy show, I'm not sure how long that bit is.
So, anyone interested?
