Plans to travel to Queensland for bridge at the end of August unfortunately fell through a couple of weeks ago, due to a variety of factors. Since I feel in need of a holiday regardless (and have 8 weeks annual leave available for this year) I've decided on going walking.

Plan at the moment is to go from Balingup to Pemberton on the Bibbulmun track, which is around 160km. Based on where the overnight stops are it will probably be 8 days 7 nights. I'm still trying to sort out transport, weighing up the options available, mainly looking at catching the bus both ways, or driving to Pemberton then catching the bus to Balingup. Both plans have their downsides (not a great variety of bus times, no idea if there are convenient places to leave a car in Pemberton for a week...).

Anyway, if people have bushwalking supplies that they are happy to lend me, please speak up, I'm happy to buy stuff if needed, but if friends have convenient items I'm not above borrowing them for a week.
