And home again....
Arrived back home last night, dropped home at about 1am Perth time (which is 4am Fiji time).
Holiday was awesome, but there is something nice about getting into your own bed at the end of it.
Highlights include:
Seeing vegetus
Snorkeling
Drinking Kava (which didn't taste anywhere near as bad as some people had warned me)
Lots of relaxation time
Beautiful sunsets (with cocktails)
Lovely beaches
Lowlights:
Sunburn
12 hour transit times
I will post some photos once I figure out how to stick them on here.
Total holiday cost around $1,500 which I'm quite happy with (not including paying for stuff which I bought for the trip but will be keeping (like the camera))
I spent quite a bit of time reading, started reading some Elizabeth Moon which I enjoyed (Trading in Danger, Book 1 of Vatta's War), if anyone has the rest of the series (or other series) which I can borrow it'd be much appreciated. I also finally read Harry Potter book 7, purely for completeness. The internet has enough opinions of the volume and the series that I won't bother cluttering it up with another one. I'd also like to borrow Oathblood (by Mercedes Lackey) if anyone has a copy available.
Anyway, time to go shopping.
