Life has a way of throwing things fast and all at once. It makes things stressful, but when things turn out well in the end, I suppose it makes the adventure more thrilling at having pulled it off.
In three days time, I will be without a roommate. I found this out yesterday morning. So thusly, along with moving, I will also enter into the most financially volatile situation I've ever been in, shelling out shy of 2k a month in living expenses while I try to break the lease at my apartment two months early.
Two days after that, I will be on an airplane to safe-place; Lawrence, Kansas. 6 days of fun and festivals and a different culture and locale. I'm quite excited. I remember in SLO, after 2 or 3 days, I kinda forgot where I came from, that I had to work, and all the burdens of my world were left behind me, as if they were constrained to the geographic location they were spawned in. I wonder how Kansas will be for that as well, and for twice as long :P
I will not let life's horrible attempts at a pitfall limit my enjoyment of life, and what it has to offer me.
