i think any time spent with the baby will be aimed towards sharpening my latent pyschic abilities to torture small children. much like the deepfryer episode, if anyone's familiar with it.
so the thing's name is Derek James Easterling. It was born last friday, and my sister didn't tell anyone in the family until a couple days later. My aunt sent me a pic of the child, and it was taken from such an angle, that I imagine as the doctors are telling her to "push!", her husband was standing there with a camera phone, trying to get a good angle to take a picture.
i dont really hate the child. its new, and i cant. however, i just hope that it grows strong enough to make its own decisions, and be influenced by the world outside the home, and be much different than either of his parents...
