christmas - hit or shit?
HIT: free stuff, bill & ted's excellent adventure is usually on TV, sausages wrapped in bacon
SHIT: you have to spend a whole fucking day's worth of concentrated time with your fucking family and pretend you're interested in what they have to say, you have to eat a fucking shit roast dinner that for some fucking bizarre reason everyone thinks is the best meal EVAR! but really its just the same old shit i got served up every fucking sunday in the history of fucking sundays until i told my mum i wasn't eating her shit roast dinners any more, you can't see your mates, you have to buy everyone presents, your aunt gets rat-arsed drunk every fucking year and makes a total tit of herself and everyone thinks its hillarious but its really nothing to be proud of, TV becomes overwhelmingly shit, you have to get up early
to be honest if it wasn't for the presents (which are usually a total let down anyway) christmas would have nothing over just a normal day. although i'm pretty sure i'll start enjoying christmas as soon as i can spend one away from the family (and have something for lunch that isn't a fucking shit roast dinner).

yeah seriously, i haven't even withdrawn cash for months and months, such is the cash-in-hand tax-free life of the DJ, yeah i'm totally broke and this wasn't helped by having a nice little money- spinning residency we had go tits-upon us, so in this desparation i actually went and applied to work at oddbins in bromley, and the manager said he'd definitely get back to me, but he hasn't. i am un-employable. the idea of getting a 'proper job' is still on hold, because i am lazy, because i couldn't cope with a week of 9-5s and thus not being able to go to DURRR, because there's really nothing i want to do with my life outside of the world of DJing/music-making/clubnight promoting and i never want to treat it as a mere hobby outside of my job.
of course this means i still have to live with my parents at the moment, cos i still get shit pay, and this is no fun, but i should imagine that next year i'll be spending most my time round julia's anyway. she's back in 11 days. people that said these 4 months would fly by were having a fucking laugh.
