JAPAN POST (paaart threeeeee goodbye)
FINALLY THIS WILL BE COMPLETE!! I AM PUMPED I AM READY
started out with a little outing w/our friend. yummy gluten free curry but it was way spicer than i remembered ope.
went to one of my favorite places in japan called b-side label. they have stuff in the US of A, but not all the cooler shit like shirts and totes. i ended up getting some washi tape, a few stickers, and one shirt. i kinda wish i got more but alas, i am nothing if not frugal lol.
the cashier was super nice, he asked where i was from and gave me some extra goodies for visiting all the way from america. :') so sweet.
i'm so mad that these hats were like 40 bucks, they go hard.
had a little walk around an outside mall and we ended up at this german pub LOL. i got a highball and some fries. :9
splitting up with everyone again so we could go to theeeeee...
square enix cafe!! :D
HRRNNNGG it was so pretty!! i love how they set up all the figures and merch. also wish i knew how much the little shotglass was, it's so cool.
piyo got the pancakes and i got the buster sword parfait. it was GIANT tho so i couldn't finish it, but i was surprised at how good it was!
ofc i couldn't leave without buying something kingdom hearts related. :') i'm glad the stupid "one size fits all" in japan actually fits me. also the roxas plate was the last one there hehehe. meme 2 be.
goin back to the hotel.
later we met up with friends and went to a yakitori restaurant, which was... interesting... but it was cheap and good so no real complaints there. it was just a little uh. cramped and dingy lol.
i think this is when me and piyo went to a big center with a ton of floors dedicated to different hobbies. a lot of them didn't allow photos, but i was able to find a few areas that allowed it.
more adventures later at night with jordan. we met up to have dinner at kura sushi, which was... certainly a time. i think the wait time was an hour? maybe? and it was fucking CROWDED as hell. x _ x
the sushi was kinda mid, too. i got a bunch of salmon which was pretty good, but i tried to venture out and regretted it every time lmao. not a great experience, 3.5/10.

another mall day, i can't remember much of it. the parfait place was nice but i don't think we really did anything except window shopping. maybe. this may have been the day we went doujin shopping again so i didn't take any pics lolol.
i have such anxiety talking to people normally, but i always want something to drink so i mustered up the strength to try my hand at ordering at (the now banned) sbux.
AGAIN i was lucky and the person just started talking to me in perfect english LMAO she told me she studied abroad. after i moved aside to wait for my drinks this older lady was complimenting the cashier for her english. it was cute.
this was one of the best meals i had on the trip. my friends wanted to take us out as a christmas present and holy geez this place was so cool, the staff was familiar with our friends so everyone was so kind and welcoming.
the entire course meal was gluten free too!! they had an understanding of allergies and it was just really nice to not have to worry about it for once. :')
god looking at this is making me hungry for it again SKDJFHNDJS
alas the trip had to come to an end. our travels to the shinkansen was actually not too bad! we left with like an hour to spare just bc we were afraid of being flustered if we lost our way. we did make it out alive yahoo.
horrible plane lighting and camera angles, we love to see it.

minus all the gifts we got for people ofc. i feel like i didn't get quite as much as i have in the past few japan trips, but it's prob bc my fandom favorites are all older and not popular like the new stuff.
