I am so excited. It is like winning the lottery. It seems a quarter of a million people flooded Ticketmaster on line and via the phone and I was one of the lucky ones who got through. And I didn't just get any tickets, I got AMAZING tickets for game two (a little freaked out one of the seats is 13, but I am going to ignore that).
I tried to do a good thing though, because as much as I love my Sox, and I am dying to go to this game, my mom & dad have been Sox fans forever. So I offered my ticket (my brother has the other one) to one of them. (My brother refused to give his up, which is funny, since I am the one who actually got them. He just fell into it because I had to use his cc# and address, because mine was being used to try to secure handicapped seats for my dad, which didn't work. TM was insistent that there was only one set of tickets, for any game, to one address. This opened the door for my brother. But I digress..) So I was willing to give mine to my parents. My dad told my mom she should go, because he went to the last White Sox World Series game in 1959. She decided she didn't want to watch the game without him, so I am still going. But I just wish I could find a way to get them there, but if I can't, at least I know I tried.
But anyway, on a really selfish note, I am happy I am going. I will have been to one game in all three rounds of the playoffs. How amazing is that?
I am so excited :)
