(no subject)
So. Today, on my way home from work, I stopped by the Giant (grocery store) to get some cash for breakfast tomorrow morning. I withdrew $20 from my account, but $40 was dispensed. $20 was subtracted from my account but another $20 came with it, for free. How often does that happen? (I thought to myself whether or not I should try to take out moremoney in hopes of getting more cash... decided against that one.)
Then, tonight, I talkin' online to some cool cats when my phone rings. It was my manager from work who proceeded to tell me that the store will be closed tomorrow because our power is out (For those of you living under rocks, we've had extremely horrible flooding... Check CNN for Broome County Flooding). Our power company came to our store, apparently after I had ended my shift at 5.30 saying that they would be shuttingoff the power. It was originally thought to be like a few minutes type deal, but, turned out that we needed the landlord of our complex, his signature, in order to fix some hardcore repairs and turn the power back on. He apparently couldn't be reached. So. I will be getting paid for tomorrrow's work- 8-7, and not physically be there.
I wonder what's going on. Signs of some sort or something- Crazy.
