youth gangs take over world

So today I found out that certain members of a certain household across the street from me are miscreants. Dirty little theiving miscreants. They're also very funny, clever, sneaky and witty. But miscreants nonetheless. While I was away at Publix, one Ryan Paul Willis and one Peter Alex Young came to my house. Ryan apparently performed an African rain dance as a distraction to the roommates, while Pete swiped one of the light bulbs from the mirror in my bathroom. THEN...after I came home from Publix, Pete came back, rushed into my bathroom saying that he couldn't use his own because Ryan was in the shower...poured water into the potty (in case anyone was listening?)...and took lightbulb #2. So, of course, when I went to use said mirror in said bathroom, I noticed an absence of correct lighting, marked by two gaping holes where there had once been lightbulbs. Yes, yes, it was funny I'll admit it. I'm smiling just writing about it.

Tonight was the first Bible study of the semester at the Miscreant House. (Miscreant is my $100 word of the day, so I'm not letting go of it just yet). All lightbulbs aside, I realized during Bible study that I am very thankful for my neighbors. It's more than incredible to live across the street from and hang out with four fantastic men of God (yeah that's right, I said men) who really step up to the plate in their relationships with God and have real things to say about it. And they're cool.

Come to think of it, today I just feel very thankful in general. About everything. I like life. A lot. I like God. A lot.

Also, I'm taking a class about Christian Ethics. I did my first reading and reaction paper today...I think it was definitely God that I signed up for this class. So look out for my little soapbox that I could quite possibly be climbing up on from time to time on here.
