so it's off to london today.. crazy ness... two more dates left on the get sets tour.
i got my camera stolen at phil's last night.. what a gyp... ganked it out of my bag during the five minutes i was walking home before i remembered my bag..
i'm an idiot.. but what kind of asshole takes a camera out of someones bag?
phils is full of muscle men and jerks now.. what a stupid place, and the beer prices went up a whole dollar!
i'm never going back there
it was awesome hanging out with efto and angus and meagan.. and seeing nathan briefly.. i should have stayed at colin's to hang out.. i'm mental..
and majorly hungover today..
tonight should be interesting.. hanging in london again, check out the record stores i spent so much money at... molly blooms where i worked for three years.. maybe someone i know will be there?
the whole tour has been crazy.. july first in to was nuts.. the headliner packed the place over capacity and we had to fight with the management about what to do about it.. we weren't allowed back in to watch the show!/

then there was the trepid records show, where we got free beer and free weed and the people there gave us tons of money.. so generous! and they stood up and rocked out for our last song (phil riled them up, crazy bastard)
before that was the grad house, with hot kid and yim tin tam.. hot kid was AMAZXING.. and fun to hang out with after the show as well.. i met a lot of fun people that night.. owen from kkg, shilo and peter from hot kid were super nice.. i hope we can play with them again.. we went to ethel's after that..fun times..phil and armen went and took pictures of every hot girl in the bar!?? so sleazy but hilarious
before that in hamilton, we showed up to find that the headliner had cancelled..
we were stranded at a pwyc show with ten audience members.. the first guy tom wilson was pretty good.. country guy with some good lyrics.. he was our biggest fan, aside from the sound guy.. he really liked it too.. we managed to get paid okay somehow from donations to the bucket... sold a couple cd's.. the sound guy, dave, was playing awesome music all night between sets.. i really like the casbah lounge..
before that was mavericks in ottawa.. huge venue with amazing sound, thirty bewildered emo kids in the audience.. we got paid ... left, partied at dominion, a strip club, and zaphods for goth night.. insane goth bands ...
phil and armen got in a fight at the breakfast joint we went to aftwerwards abou tthe hos armen picked up at the show that were allegedly hustling him for beer money... oh man that was fucked..
the first show in ottawa was at the avante garde.. i loved that place, and if the headliner had done any decent promotion, it could have been great... however it was just a lot of fun, sitting outside in the van drinking mickeys cuz the vodka was 6 bucks... shira tried absinthe, because her fortune cookie said she should try something new that day.. mile over mecca were cool people, and played really well.. we made piss all at the door, but enough for gas money so whatever..
anyway today i'm hungover, waiting for the band to pick me up at my parents' house.. it was great to be back here with the whole family again for a dinner, drinks, and gossip about other relatives.. hehe.. got to telll a bunch of stories about the road, and it was cool...
now is breakfast time.. eggs and bacon baby
