Summer Is Upon Us
Well, I'm a few weeks into my summer vacation. It seems that everyone around me is working or going on trips out of town or out of the state. Pat is working at a camp this summer and the rest of my family is in West Virginia. Latasha went back to Wisconsin. I'm home alone, except for my one-eyed cat. I'm starting to get really bored, not to mention broke from my lazy life. I'm also starting to get frustrated that I can't find a job anywhere. I've been working on finding a job since I got home in May, but the good ones have been taken and the ones that are left are long term or require experience. I'm not sure how I'm going to fund all my expenses for next year.
I do have an awesome job lined up for when I go back to school. It is only 5-10 hours per week. I'll be working out of Health Services working on a computer making graphs and things and hanging posters around campus. I'm hoping to be able to get a teaching assistant job as well, but I still haven't heard from the professor yet on which classes she is teaching.
I can't wait until I can move into my apartment...even though it won't be for another 2 months. I'm really excited about where I'll be living and my roommates seem really cool. Mostly I'm just ready to leave New Ulm. It really sux here.
