Two years ago I punched away this prophetic post, and here I am, sitting at home, partaking in this very European thing, contemplating things like what is "gay" versus what is simply "European", wondering about tastes across borders, and rooting my heart out for this Belorussian boy from NORWAY. I just wish he sang in Belorussian. Or Norwegian. Or Russian. Or Swahili. Just not English. It's painful to listen to, to be honest.

But he's cute otherwise.

Half if not most Eurovision participants sing in English. It's truly a world language and comes in "many colors". The accent thing didn't even phase me :) I learned to enjoy the many shapes of the English language after interning one summer with a bunch of boys from Wales. LOL
