You know that's a good point. Lioshka loves me without make-up. But for some reason I still feel like I need to wear it. I feel really ugly without it. It's been a year and this feeling is not going away..
Yea, I know about those husbands that you mention. These russian magazines that I'm using for my thesis are full of articles about women feeling like they have to look their best for their husbands, otherwise the husbands aren't happy. I think it's more prevalent back home than here. although by here I only mean cleveland, I'm sure in Cali where it's very socially acceptable to get implants, liposucktion, blond hair and tan, husbands are probably more demanding as well.
I don't even know why Lioshka thinks we need another shkaf. I think our apartment looks like a Wal-Mart furniture display as is. I used to think it's the way the apartment is laid out - it's kind of awkward, but the other day I visited our neighbors and their place is so cozy! So it's not the apartment, it's us. Actually, it's Lioshka. My aparment when I lived alone was quite cozy :)
