Pepperoni Faced Me

Ya'll, my face and shoulders are so swollen and blotchy and ooozy that I look like a medical experiment gone wrong. This cold isn't helping; I've lost my voice by the end of each of the last two days...Doing much less than normal talking, and drinking a crap load of water. Still feels like I'm swallowing busted glass as well. I have to go and see a doctor if this hasn't improved in 2 more days...

Also, I highly recommend the fitting specialists at Nordstroms; Monday, I had an excellent experience using Kristen's assistance at the local branch. And, wow, was I using the wrong size bra or what! I had been wearing a 34 C; properly fitted, I'm a 34 D, but due to my lack of torso size (most petite women have this problem), I have a gap at the top of a full cupped bra. Wearing a demi, balconette, triangle and t-shirt bras, I don't have that problem at all. I'm scared when I think of all my old bras-they were all full-cup styles, and I more than a little filled them! I must have been huge! But due to my decreasing percentage body fat, I haven't been for the last 6 months, and didn't want to pay for the embarrassment of shopping for smaller bras...never fancied the fact that I'd be shopping for larger ones, either. Kristen really helped me search for amazing deals and finds; I payed $112 for 5 (that's right, 5!!) bras. And they all fit amazingly, and are high quality find. DKNY, CK, and Betsey Johnson.

Yeah, this isn't all that huge of a deal for most of ya'll, I'm sure, but I really can't say enough positive things about this experience. It's been 3 years since I bought new bras...I came home and trashed my worn, comfortable but sadly beaten old underthings.

I also replaced my old trench (the darker red one) for a more classic and better fitting one. I found it in the petite clearance section, marked down to 30% of it's original price because it was missing two buttons. After a trip to Hancock Fabrics, and 7 min with a needle and thread, it looks good as new. It is disappointing that I replaced a London Fog with a Jessica Simpson brand...but it's a classic style, not trendy at all, and is very sturdily constructed. So I gave in. It's a very pretty cream color.

Sorry, I like bragging about amazing purchases. I like getting more bang to my buck, lol.
