Starting with Christian, let me get the obvious negative out of the way first. Yes, Christian's only getting the belt for two reasons. The first is because there is literally nobody else on the Smackdown brand that can hold it (that is until Orton gets into the title picture). And the second is obviously the emotion & sympathy that carried over from Edge's recent retirement.
That said, it was still a pretty fucking awesome moment that most of us thought would never ever happen in the WWE. I personally gave up hope for Christian winning a World Title when they completely bitched him out in 2005 even though he was over like a motherfucker. Good for him. He's worked hard. He deserves it.
So the crowd absolutely losing it, twice, when christian had the match won means less than a staduim full have half groans when Cena won?
Christian/ADR: Great moment for Christian, and the crowd reaction really made it feel special. Seeing Edge's emotion for his friend was great too.

So happy Christian is the World Heavyweight Champion!! Probably one of my favorite PPV moments I've seen in awhile. John Cena winning didn't piss me off too much, I mean like Booker T had said he hadn't had the Title for almost a year. Punk/Orton, Mysterio/Rhodes & both Main Events we're very good matches. Extreme Rules exceeded my expectations and to cap off the night motherfucking Osama has been killed ! Good day to be an American Wrestling Fan eh? <-- I'm Canadian. But w/e.
I plan to watch it tomorrow but Wow Christian did it for Eddie, I mean, Edge!
No seriously it's amazing that Christian has finally won the big one, he absolutely deserves it and I hope it's not gonna be his only one... About Del Rio, well, becoming the WHC it's still his destiny, but that will be in another place and another time .
Christian/Del Rio: **** Great ladder match. Was a bit slow at the start but picked up well and turned out fantastic. I loved the finish with Edge and it really was a great moment with Christian winning his first world title.
Mr Ladder Match and ADR played it out really well, and although it was always extremely likely Christian would win, Del Rio came over pretty well considering it was his first time in a Ladder Match (I think).
Christian vs Alberto Del Rio - Ladder Match
Wasn't crazy about either the match or the outcome. Mentioned before the reasons why I preferred Del Rio to win so yeah. It's great for Christian to get a title reign anyway even if probably wont be an actual title run. Totally expect him to drop it next month to Henry. I remember there was a time when I thought Ladder matches were the bomb and they pretty much barely ever failed to deliver in the **** region. With the exeption of Morrison/Sheamus there hasn't been a great WWE Ladder match in way too long and it's not through a lack of matches with the stip. They did lots of little spots with the ladders but nothing huge or memorable. Del Rio took a crazy looking bump on the ladder off the top rope but that was about it. Don't know if anyone else noticed it but Brodus looked like he took a really bad bump because there was a massive pool of blood on the outside where he was laying. Expected Edge to have a run in but hoped he wouldn't.

Christian/Del Rio was a great Ladder match and I'm really chuffed for Christian to have won the title and also for him to have been able to celebrate it with Edge. The crowd were really into the match and he looked like it meant a lot to him.
Christian vs ADR: Match itself was okay - nothing very special, but a solid one nonetheless. I could have done without the Brodus and Edge interferences, but the finish really made my day. I'm not a Christian fan, but seeing this guy get the title for the first time nearly brought a tear to my eye, definitely the best moment of the evening.
I have absolutely had enough of Cole's heel personality on commentary. When Christian won the title, it was a great moment for Christian, the fans, Edge, and everyone who's waited years for that moment... and Cole damn near ruins the moment with his "he didn't deserve it; hell has frozen over; why are you applauding this?" bullshit. Why couldn't the fans just enjoy the moment and watch it play out as Christian won the title?
It makes me sick thinking that people are going to look back on "Christians first World Title" years from now and hear Cole talking about how he "shouldn't be Champion". No no, it won't be like Eddie when you look back and hear "Eddie has finally conquered his demons, he is the new WWE Champion! GOOD FOR YOU EDDIE!!!", no, instead we'll here "ya, he's only Champion because of Edge". This "Cole as a heel" bit needs to stop; I've had enough.
The crowd didn't seem dead on my TV. Christian winning the title got a very nice pop, more than I expected actually.
The crowd really was electric for that match. When it started getting going they were reacting wildly. Just watching the final moments when Christian first goes up before Clay interferes and listen to those fans go wild. Then the "o no Vince is gonna fuck us!" reaction then the just wild cheering and bouncing as Edge distracted, Christian knocked the ladder over, and then set it up. The crowd even stayed up and popped throughout the celebration.
CHRISTIAN FUCKING DID IT!! This PPV could have been a steaming pile of poo n I'd still have loved it for that moment. Haven't marked out like that in years. AMAZING
Christian finally on top where he belongs...the way it ALWAYS should of been back when all of this John Cena crap first started. Del Rio showing he can DEFINITELY work main event matches in the WWE.

Great PPV. It was just amazing to see Christian win, that was the obvious highlight. Every match was good bar one (please end this stupid feud between King v Cole) The diva match was even decent. Not happy about Cena winning but Christian won so im happy haha. Overall great PPV.
Christian/Del Rio - 4.5/5 Great match. Nice bumps and ups and downs. Such a great sight seeing Christian FINALLY win the WHC after 10 years.

It's great to see Christian finally win the big one. He deserves, and as much as I like ADR, he really isn't getting a reaction suitable for a world champ
Starting with Christian, let me get the obvious negative out of the way first. Yes, Christian's only getting the belt for two reasons. The first is because there is literally nobody else on the Smackdown brand that can hold it (that is until Orton gets into the title picture). And the second is obviously the emotion & sympathy that carried over from Edge's recent retirement.
That said, it was still a pretty fucking awesome moment that most of us thought would never ever happen in the WWE. I personally gave up hope for Christian winning a World Title when they completely bitched him out in 2005 even though he was over like a motherfucker. Good for him. He's worked hard. He deserves it.
So the crowd absolutely losing it, twice, when christian had the match won means less than a staduim full have half groans when Cena won?
Christian/ADR: Great moment for Christian, and the crowd reaction really made it feel special. Seeing Edge's emotion for his friend was great too.

So happy Christian is the World Heavyweight Champion!! Probably one of my favorite PPV moments I've seen in awhile. John Cena winning didn't piss me off too much, I mean like Booker T had said he hadn't had the Title for almost a year. Punk/Orton, Mysterio/Rhodes & both Main Events we're very good matches. Extreme Rules exceeded my expectations and to cap off the night motherfucking Osama has been killed ! Good day to be an American Wrestling Fan eh? <-- I'm Canadian. But w/e.
I plan to watch it tomorrow but Wow Christian did it for Eddie, I mean, Edge!
No seriously it's amazing that Christian has finally won the big one, he absolutely deserves it and I hope it's not gonna be his only one... About Del Rio, well, becoming the WHC it's still his destiny, but that will be in another place and another time .
Christian/Del Rio: **** Great ladder match. Was a bit slow at the start but picked up well and turned out fantastic. I loved the finish with Edge and it really was a great moment with Christian winning his first world title.
Mr Ladder Match and ADR played it out really well, and although it was always extremely likely Christian would win, Del Rio came over pretty well considering it was his first time in a Ladder Match (I think).
Christian vs Alberto Del Rio - Ladder Match
Wasn't crazy about either the match or the outcome. Mentioned before the reasons why I preferred Del Rio to win so yeah. It's great for Christian to get a title reign anyway even if probably wont be an actual title run. Totally expect him to drop it next month to Henry. I remember there was a time when I thought Ladder matches were the bomb and they pretty much barely ever failed to deliver in the **** region. With the exeption of Morrison/Sheamus there hasn't been a great WWE Ladder match in way too long and it's not through a lack of matches with the stip. They did lots of little spots with the ladders but nothing huge or memorable. Del Rio took a crazy looking bump on the ladder off the top rope but that was about it. Don't know if anyone else noticed it but Brodus looked like he took a really bad bump because there was a massive pool of blood on the outside where he was laying. Expected Edge to have a run in but hoped he wouldn't.

Christian/Del Rio was a great Ladder match and I'm really chuffed for Christian to have won the title and also for him to have been able to celebrate it with Edge. The crowd were really into the match and he looked like it meant a lot to him.
Christian vs ADR: Match itself was okay - nothing very special, but a solid one nonetheless. I could have done without the Brodus and Edge interferences, but the finish really made my day. I'm not a Christian fan, but seeing this guy get the title for the first time nearly brought a tear to my eye, definitely the best moment of the evening.
I have absolutely had enough of Cole's heel personality on commentary. When Christian won the title, it was a great moment for Christian, the fans, Edge, and everyone who's waited years for that moment... and Cole damn near ruins the moment with his "he didn't deserve it; hell has frozen over; why are you applauding this?" bullshit. Why couldn't the fans just enjoy the moment and watch it play out as Christian won the title?
It makes me sick thinking that people are going to look back on "Christians first World Title" years from now and hear Cole talking about how he "shouldn't be Champion". No no, it won't be like Eddie when you look back and hear "Eddie has finally conquered his demons, he is the new WWE Champion! GOOD FOR YOU EDDIE!!!", no, instead we'll here "ya, he's only Champion because of Edge". This "Cole as a heel" bit needs to stop; I've had enough.
The crowd didn't seem dead on my TV. Christian winning the title got a very nice pop, more than I expected actually.
The crowd really was electric for that match. When it started getting going they were reacting wildly. Just watching the final moments when Christian first goes up before Clay interferes and listen to those fans go wild. Then the "o no Vince is gonna fuck us!" reaction then the just wild cheering and bouncing as Edge distracted, Christian knocked the ladder over, and then set it up. The crowd even stayed up and popped throughout the celebration.
CHRISTIAN FUCKING DID IT!! This PPV could have been a steaming pile of poo n I'd still have loved it for that moment. Haven't marked out like that in years. AMAZING
Christian finally on top where he belongs...the way it ALWAYS should of been back when all of this John Cena crap first started. Del Rio showing he can DEFINITELY work main event matches in the WWE.
