you'll have to read "Shogun", or learn or know older Japanese for that one ( page 555, book III, vol. 2 , ch. 35 ) . but on to other things. People in general have been very nice to me lately. Thanks, all of you who have! had big fun chattin with L the other day, thanks for the fun, darlin'! sorry 'bout your grmflnbl snow....
my preciousssss talked to me today. That was special ( for reasons you don't get to know ) and made me smile. the temperature has been fan-fraggin-tastic!!! 40's!!! so much better than the 10's and such. my girl been sick, that's been sad, but all you who talk to her ( like, all of you), know she'll be okay. stomach bummers suck so bad....
happy music playing....always helps a good mood get even better! Why is it, that when things suck, and we're blue, that we listen to bummer, unhappy songs, and when we're happy, we listen to uplifting music? shouldn't it be the opposite? why, when we are depressed, do we ( those of us who partake ) drink alcohol, a known depressant? doesn't matter, i guess it's all part of that being human thing. i have a really cool thing from 'Shogun' to put in here a little later, don't let me forget.
listening to a bootleg ( hong kong ) mix of some really good ' My Little Lover' music. possibly, probably my favorite non-euro-american band. so you gotta know i'm happy.
friday (tomorrow) is finally my last day of having to work with the new guy at work, til he goes on his own on monday. cool.
time for the cool quote from Mr. Clavell....

"Now sleep. Karma is karma. Be thou Zen. Remember, in tranquillity, that the Absolute, the Tao, is within thee, that no priest or cult or dogma or book or saying or teaching or teacher stands between Thou and It. Know that Good and Evil are irrelevant, I and Thou irrelevant, Inside and Outside irrelevant as are Life and Death. Enter into the Sphere where there is no fear of death nor hope of afterlife, where thou art free of the impediments of life or the needs of salvation. Thou art thyself Tao. Be thou, now, a rock against which the waves of life rush in vain...."

a meditation by Toranaga, former Daimyo and very powerful and wily bastard.....

oyasumi nasai, mina! Love to my love and you all. < grin 'n' wave...>
