England, summer 2011. You me, and everyone we know (within reason). For: England by silly costume. Why, you ask?
I have not read Harry Potter. I have watched the movies and have really enjoyed them. I hear the books are good as well. In fact, as usual, the books are more, maybe better than the movies. Which is why I haven't read them. Because if I read one I'd want to read the rest, and I don't want to enjoy the movies less. So I sit in utter ignorance of who dies. DON'T TELL ME. It won't be as funny as you think it is with the knife in your gut.
Anyway. The last movie comes out July 15th, 2011. (Or there about). I'd like to go see it, then hop on a plane to England to buy the books.
Wait, I skipped something. The American version of the books is different than the English version. There, that was the important part. Why I need to get them from the UK. Now, a normal person would just buy them online from amazon.co.uk. But I'm not normal. Boy howdy, am I not normal.
Besides, what better excuse to see the world than something completely ridiculous?
So that explains why next summer, but where did the silly costumes come in?
Because Stone Henge is boring. Or so my parents tell me so. I could of course go see some of the other henges in the area, less well known ones that allow you to get closer and whatnot, but I'd rather just make Stone Henge more fun. How would Stone Henge be more fun? If a large collection of people dressed up like hippies and visited en masse, and got in tune with the stones. Maybe a little song circle? That would be far out, man. Here, let me braid your hair.
Wait, wouldn't all of a vacation be more fun if you were in silly costumes? I mean that's what half of Flipside is. Otherwise it's just camping.
So that's why silly costumes.
Who's with me?
