who won?! last time i think it was geoff from emphasis salon.. but i'm not entirely sure.

Piandre Salon won as the Grand Prize winner :) the creation is the girl with the blonde hair and the green dress :)

This is also the second time that Piandre Salon won (they also won in 2004)

yups :) 09 is the winner

The criteria for judging are:
1. Creativity in presenting the theme
2. Wearability
3. Explanation/concept behind the creation
4. Technical skills behind the creation (difficulty of creation)

09 won because it stood out from everyone else. You will notice that everyone kind of has the same look - which is geometric bangs, or one eye covered, or a mushroom/helmet head.

09 went with some really different bangs, plus the sides (which you cant see) was colored really well too.

With regards to the wearability criteria, the judges ask the stylists how they would adapt the cut to fit a business woman, a student, etc etc. Since the color trophy look will become a trendsetter, the look has to be able to adapt to different people. 09's hairdresser gave a very good defense :)

ah...okay...wearability should be a big factor talaga...kasi sometimes fashion people (i think hairdressers are also in this category, but correct me if i'm wrong :P) make really good artistic pieces, but they're soooooo impractical...
