The Brisbane Lucksmiths gig was one of their best gigs I have seen. Memorable in so many ways. Maybe because Tali forgot his harmonica in 'The Year Of Driving Langourosly'. Maybe because the band was sweating rivers on the abnormally hot night for this time of year. Maybe because they had smiles continually planted on their faces the whole two hours. Maybe because 'A Sobering Thought' just never sounded so good. Maybe because I'll always remember the way "Oh! the humidity! Oh! the stupidity!" was sung on such a fitting night. Maybe it's just because my sister was there and she was smiling wider than anyone.
