update on my life, not too great. o well.
so sorry for not updating in forever. i haven't really done anything with myself these past couple weeks.
why?
because i have mono. and it sucks SO bad.
i finally went to the health centre today and they basically were like yeah, you seem like you have it. but let's take a blood test and see. so those results come in on wednesday.
either way, i can't go outside, i can't work, i can't focus, i can't do anything but like lie in bed all day and feel like crap. it's been about 2 weeks now with symptoms.
i basically discovered yesterday what i've been going thru this long is mono, bc the swollen gland on my neck finally appeared and is sore.... and i knew it then bc in england it's called "glandular fever" and i was like ahh, it's all too true.
anyway, in recovery.
in other news, last weekend (albeit i was still sick and so was daniel) was pretty fun. i had my friend kevin visit and dan met up with us as well. twas buckets o' fun. nice to have a friend of mine finally meet the ubiquitous daniel, and it was also nice to have dan finally meet one of my best friends (or any of my friends for that matter). so yay.
um.... as for housing, yeah. we're all officially homeless still. and we're not giving in and not taking shit from reslife because they fucked up our housing. we're holding out to see if they will give us graduate housing, which they said they "dont like to do", but it can be done. i say, it's not up to them at this point what they do or don't like to do, right now we don't like that we're stuck in this situation and have no where to live cause they messed up. oh yeah, and we're abroad.
so right. i hope i get better soon :( i asked the health centre to write me a note for an extension of my paper. and today i'll be workin on packing up and finally moving out of stupid goodricke where i've already had : 1 2L bottle of milk, 1 full package of 6 eggs, 1 full package of turkey ham, 2 tesco chicken brocolli pies, and 1 full box of cereal stolen.
