I'm pretty sure I don't want to do pre-med anymore. I went to my first meeting of the pre-med society, and the speaker was talking about the application process, and it all seemed too much. Apparently, we are not even supposed to take the normal credit load, but always a little more! I mean, there is a fine line between "challenging yourself" and "working yourself into the grave" and I just don't see the point, especially if this is what you're gonna be doing for the rest of your life! And all the recommendation and packages - it all just seems like so much, and then the amount of money it costs ... it was really funny how half the room was freshmen, and there were only 5 or so seniors. Makes me wonder about those kids, about which ones will drop out of the rat race.
