actually, MMOs are pay to play because somebody has to pay to keep the servers up and keep routine maintenance goin', yanno. someone has to pay the GM's. someone has to pay to keep the content fresh.

but i agree, the people in the MMO business treat the consumer like crap. but the fees are a necessary evil.
