good ole saint patrick...
today was one of my favorite fridays in a long time. or favourite, if we want to do british spelling.
I. it started early. i find it so odd that on days i have school, all i want to do in the mornings is sleep, and the days i dont, i cant help but wake up early. but that meant i got so much done. namely, feeling like a fool (i cut myself on saran wrap! but it was only cause you know when the saran gets a little rip, and you try to rip it from there, and you pull really hard...well, my finger rammed into the sharp part. but still. saran wrap. honestly, woman). i also exercised, and me and mummy dearest went to get green tea and manicures. my nails are now red. like blood.
II. i met up with vicky m, and adrian and emma except they came late, so we'd already ordered our bun xao. we went to saigon grill (of course) because we lack creativity. and are big fans of their sauce. there were also many green things (IS IT MINT OR IS IT BASIL?!?) in the noodles, so we felt the irish pride right thurr.
III. we walked around, and up to the parade. we took pictures with irish lads and police officers. this one man asked us where we were from. when we said new york, i think he thought we were lying. can you say tourists at heart?
IV. we got icees!! (outside of ps 6)
V.we walked on the madison for quite a while. we took some fabulous pictures next to ads, such as v for vendetta and ultraviolet. except that the v for vendetta one turned out horrendous. but the other ad ones were excellent. we became an ipod commercial for example.
VI. we walked adrian and emma to their bus/subway stops respectively. me and victoria proceeded to walk back all the way up the met to do our museum projects for the rauschenberg exhibit. ironically, this is when s.bangel called me (ironic because we'd previously seen this exhibit). me and victoria figured that altogether, we'd walked more than 3 miles today. which is REDONKULOUS. we also stopped by hunter to pick up victoria's math notebook and stuff. then we went over to the dianas a bit, and then i went home, ate dinner and the fam went to see a play.
it was an awesome day. also, i won a silver key in scholastic!!
