(no subject)
so as i was walking home today, i had this great urban moment. i made a point of looking at people's faces as i walked down the avenues of 96th street, and it filled me with this really incredible love for new york. i love the dusky grey skies tinged with the orange of street lights, and the cold that bites a little, but really it only refreshes. i like the one glove you see on the sides of streets, and you know that somewhere in the city lies its pair. but where? you have no idea. and the red hot chili peppers only made the moment better. they may be from california, but they were so so perfect for today, just now. and i also have a confession: i thought all of this as i approached my building, but i thought it in a livejournal form. as in, i have to write all of this online, before i forget it. i just wanted to confess about thinking in entry format. its a bit pathetic, but at this moment, im in such elation mode that i dont really care. yeah. i just needed to update this because i promised myself i would. so basically, i heart new york.
