Also, my favorite book is now a 3-D movie in theaters (not just a hilarious/atrocious SciFi feature). I'm torn as Grendel's mom is not the wolfish hell-dam she ought, but Angelina Jolie seemingly recreating her role as Lara Croft sans clothing. [Insert quip about the hotness of Grendel's mom here.]
Meg's favorite book is also a film now, seemingly of higher quality and artistic clout than the above cinematic experience. Time will be the true judge.
