Like a bolt of lightning, I had the greatest idea for a mix cd to impress my cd club: juxtapose songs about Satan with songs about Jesus. It's a final showdown to see who is truly cooler.

this is a really cool idea for a cd! i think i'll have to think a little more cuz all i'm coming up with is "Jesus Is Just Alright" by The Doobie Brothers and "Father Lucifer" by Tori Amos. lol

"The Devil's Workday," Modest Mouse (although I'm not sure you'd want more than 1 song by MM)

Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Isn't "Satan is my Motor" a book of the Danny bible? Yeah, there is that rule about no doubling an artist on a mix: a rule I often break.

You would be the one to ask about Satanic songs, Meg. I still have to hunt down "Number of the Beast" by Iron Maiden.
