if you see other pictures, it looks almost like a PMR-30 was cut up to be a "lower", so it should take the same magazines (or even longer one! woo!)...

the velocity is better, but the bullet is not suitable for self defense - except against birds and squirrels
If KT could make a similar carbine in 30 carbine (of M1c fame) that would be excellent for all roles. 110gr @ 1900fps, but capable of using lighter and heavier weights also.

Agreed, but this one has a niche with handicapped shooters who can handle a 2.5lb .22mag and not heavier M1C with stronger recoil. Me, I'd be all over 30 carbine variant.
