As for NRA giving training to free blacks to shoot back, I would love to see some actual documentation of that. First I've heard it. If it had occurred it must have been extremely limited in its scope and short lived.
But you seem to missing the point about americans being their own worst enemy. The second amendment is a shell of its intended purpose and owning firearms is a privilege, not a right (directly violating the second amendment's original purpose) that can stripped away at a moments notice for something as trivial as a domestic squabble.
Face it, its a joke.
