Doesn't NRA predate FBI by about sixty years? And NRA has been training free Blacks to shoot back when Democrat politicians bragged about being int he Klan.

So just because an organization predates another it cannot be subverted by it? That's a weak argument.

As for NRA giving training to free blacks to shoot back, I would love to see some actual documentation of that. First I've heard it. If it had occurred it must have been extremely limited in its scope and short lived.

But you seem to missing the point about americans being their own worst enemy. The second amendment is a shell of its intended purpose and owning firearms is a privilege, not a right (directly violating the second amendment's original purpose) that can stripped away at a moments notice for something as trivial as a domestic squabble.

Face it, its a joke.

Ah, the joys of an unbalanced voting structure. On one hand, I suspect that 594 will get trashed in court. On the other, law enforcement isn't enthused to enforce it (although I heard an interesting story about the locals checking in on a C&R holder) and DOL wasn't budgeted to operate the records side of it. The gripping hand is that it makes enough people criminals that perhaps they will truly stand up and make themselves heard.
