Hasibe figures she has about ten minutes before Henry gets home (she got back a little later from Sunday practice than anticipated, and these last couple of weeks are fairly vital to her performance). This means she has to a) make sure the house is clean, which is rapidly becoming one of those things that she's mildly obsessive about just because she figures that while she's not doing a lot by way of work, she ought to mind it, and b) get herself ready for when he comes home. The house itself doesn't require a lot, but it does mean she has about three minutes to put on this pink silk dress she dug up for Valentine's, and find better shoes and make-up, besides.

The rush doesn't make her anxious, for once--wedding planning has really been pretty stressful in places, but it's all stress she's trying to process and handle healthily. Arguably she could take less on her shoulders than she does, but both she and Henry are that way, and they check one another. This sort of bustling about is fun, though, like a game where losing a battle with time just means laughing, with Huan occasionally bursting into the room she's in, staring at her curiously, and then lying down to pretend to nap, one paw over his eyes. When she changes rooms, he does the same thing all over again, like he's trying to keep track of her.

By the time Henry gets back, she is standing on top of the table used to store shoes, which is about a foot and a half tall, in the middle of the front hallway (there's a full-length mirror there), in her strapless lingerie, carefully applying lipstick, with her dress hung up nearby, and Huan watching from the corner.

Life with Hasi is basically a never-ending game of 'what ridiculousness is she up to now', he may have noticed.
