Friends Only Statement, Comment to be added

COMMENT TO LET ME KNOW YOU'VE ADDED ME.
While I don't mind people adding my journal to their friend's list, I may not add you back. This is nothing personal.
If I don't know you and have never spoken to you before, the chances of me adding you back are slim, unless we have a lot in common, belong to the same communities, have mutual friends, etc.
I do often check out the journals that add me, and in most cases after I've read a few entries and get a "vibe" I will add back. It depends on the person. I certainly don't want to go through my friend's list having to skip over the entries of people I just don't have anything in common with.
Note: If you are adding me in hopes that I will be a frequent commenter, I can guarantee you that probably won't happen. I'm not someone who comments unless I feel I have something good to say, which isn't often. This does not mean that I don't care, or that I'm not reading.
