[OOC] INFOPOST SMASH!

Dec 29, 2015 22:13

Hey, infopost time! Here's a rundown of everyone I have now, including myself!

Skaar, Son of Hulk
oldstrongest1
(PB: None)

Full Name: Skaar, Son of Hulk. Yes, "Comma Son of Hulk" is essentially his surname. And his superhero name.

Main Traits: Most of the time, he's 7'6" tall, 800 lbs of pure pale green muscle. With no shirt. And a sword strapped to his back. And a loincloth. And tribal tattoos/scars on his arm. And long hair. Sometimes, once he's comfortable, he may shift to a smaller form, 5'2" and barely over 100 lbs. In both forms, his skin can turn grayish as his body becomes living rock.

Attitude Problems: Skaar is a Hulk. The madder he gets, the stronger he gets, and when he first got to Earth, he had "Murder my father, the Hulk" as a life goal. So he has some issues. He's gotten over a bunch of them, though. He hasn't tried to murder his father in a long time.

What's Up?: Skaar is coming in after a series of missions involving the Dark Avengers, culminating in the alternate reality fun that ended Dark Avengers vol 2 (aka the Jeff Parker Thunderbolts run). Basically, he's done with that kind of work, but still, Steve Rogers and Luke Cage thought it would be a good idea for him to go to school instead of just hanging out with cavemen and dinosaurs in the Savage Land. So he's giving it a shot.

Powers and Abilities: Skaar is incredibly strong while Hulked up. He is also very durable and heals very quickly, especially as his strength increases. He can also tap into the "Old Power" of the planet, which connects him to the earth and tectonics. When using the Old Power, Skaar's skin turns to gray stone, and he can basically earthbend and crack the ground open to expose lava. His Hulk strength also gets enhanced to basically incalculable levels. The standard line from the Juggernaut is that nothing can stop him once he's moving. Skaar punched him into space using Old Power plus Hulk strength.

He can also transform between Hulk size and normal size at will.

Should You Punch This Character? No. You might make him angry.

Boomerang
thisguyright
(PB: Joel McHale)

Full Name: Fred Myers

Main Traits: Evil. Australian. Often wears his Boomerang costume which features a boomerang on his face. 5'-11" tall, white, brown hair, total dick. But also, kind of charming! If you have 13 year old baseball cards, you might have one of him!

Attitude Problems: Fred is evil. he's a thief, an assassin, a villain team leader, and I can't stress this enough, but he is a goatse-sized asshole. He wants to profit and he will use and manipulate you as much as he possibly can to do so. He'll even pass himself off as JUST an asshole, if that helps you forget that he really is actually super evil.

What's Up?: Fred's coming in from some time after Superior Foes of Spider-Man and his cameo in Gambit, where he was recovering from some injuries. He's better now, and he's looking for a different kind of score now: the Bank of Fandom. If you sign up for his class, he's going to try to manipulate you into helping him rob it. I don't expect it to go well.

Powers and Abilities: Fred has no powers, but he's an excellent marksman. if Hawkeye and Bullseye are the very top tier, Boomerang is right below them. Fred actually markets himself as a sane alternative to Bullseye. He's also a trained thief and assassin and a somewhat competent leader of criminals. I mean people. Totally meant people.

Also, I was just reminded that his current costume does, in fact, have rocket boots. I forgot about the one time they've been used in this costume.

Should You Punch This Character? Yes, and you have blanket permission to. I'm not kidding. You don't even have to ask first. He's a jackass and should be punched in the face.

Black Widow
craftyladyparts
(PB: Zoey Deutch)

Full Name: Jessica Drew

Main Traits: Super-determined overworker. Does some paperwork and a lot of her own projects over at Stark's. Does some paperwork and some actual arresting of people at the Trooper Station. Is the female clone of her world's Spider-Man, but all the worlds in her section of the multiverse have been destroyed, so she's sad, but dealing. She's not secretive about her powers or origin at this point, but they don't really come up naturally in conversation. Stands about 5'-9" with medium-length red hair.

Attitude Problems: Gets intense when she focuses in on something. Prone to obsession over goals and she will see those goals through to the bitter end. Also, generally thinks she's in the right (and usually is), and she's a giant smartass.

What's Up?: Jessica is from a variant of the Ultimate Marvel Universe, which was destroyed during the runup to Secret Wars. She's stranded in Fandom and everyone she ever knew is dead, basically. After finding out what she could about the replacement planet of "Battleworld," she's somewhat made peace with her past and is trying to focus on the future. It's still hurting worse than she's letting on, but in general you should expect her to look forward.

Oh, is also the female clone of Spider-Man, has superpowers, and likes ladies. Is out about all those things, but doesn't tend to force them into conversation.

Powers and Abilities: Standard Spider-Man package (sticking to things, strength, speed, agility, spider-sense) plus SHIELD training with Nick Fury (espionage) and Captain America (strategy and fighting). Also, a genius level intellect and plenty of time idolizing AND working with Tony Stark(s), so she knows her way around science things.

Should You Punch This Character? You can try, but it won't go well for you. She's likely to dodge, then punch you and web you up before you know what happened.

Frank Doyle
halfaclink
(PB: Brendan Robinson)

Full Name: Frank Doyle

Main Traits: As drunk as water is wet. Heavy disdain for other people in general, but with a general obligation to not be as dismissive as he would like to be of everyone. Strong familiarity and similarly strong distaste for the paranormal. Dark hair, dresses well (even if his suits are pretty clearly used), drink always in hand and a refill always nearby.

Attitude Problems: As drunk as water is wet. Heavy disdain for other people in general with a general obligation to not be as dismissive as he would like to be of everyone. Strong familiarity and similarly strong distaste for the paranormal.

What's Up?: Comes from a period a bit more than a year after the first love of his life, Catherine, died. Won't meet Sadie Parker for years. So he's pretty much the Frank you'd know from the Thrilling Adventure Hour, but with less love and approximately exactly as much drink.

Powers and Abilities: As drunk as water is wet. Strong familiarity with the paranormal.

Should You Punch This Character? He'll talk you out of it, probably via handing you a drink or a scolding! I mean, really, who goes around just punching people? That's impolite AT BEST!

Nick
(PB: Self)

Full Name: Nick

Main Traits: Punny, plays Spider-People, Spider-Man adjacent people, Thunderbolts, and Animated Batman a lot. Kinda insane.

Attitude Problems: Thinks work is more important than playing since the job keeps me really busy and gives me money. Longs for independent wealth to change that. Turns everything into a joke.

What's Up?: Chicago-based architect who is a massive comic book and Star Wars dork. Listens to more podcasts than there are hours in a day.

Powers and Abilities: Punning. Ridiculous Marvel database in own head.

Should You Punch This Character? Please no!
