Let the Good Times Roll!

I just want to throw out a huge THANK YOU for everyones support in the I-Go Competition that we participated in throughout April. We won the Rock portion of the competition and are going to get our songs on the compilation cd. Unfortuanately it seems that two other bands from the competition got selected to play the Metro show. Thats ok though, because we will make it there anyways. Its not really a question of If, but When. I'm going to throw up a post on our Myspace page with all the info later today if you want to read more about it.

But this means now that we need to do some rerecording of a couple songs so that we have the quality that we would like to portray within our recordings. I've gotten the unofficial word that Friday we will be recording late throughout the night. Exciting!

I hear Band Jam went relatively well on Friday. Again sorry I missed it, but Chuck I promise I'm going to come in soon to visit you. I just don't know which day yet. We had a good show ourselves, bringing in 60 people to the Underground Lounge that night. Now its time to prepare for the Elbo Room on June 2nd

After we got done partying after the show I think I got back to bill's apartment at about 2:30, went to bed at about 3:00, got up at 6:30 and went to the 31st Beach to start my Half Marathon training. That went surprisingly well for how tired I thought I was going to be. And to make it better I think that early 7:00 A.M. run helped give me energy to carry me through my entire day. Which was really good considering that Tom and I had a party Saturday night that went to 4:00 AM as usual. It also seems like our discussions with Pat are paying off. He was able to pull a date out of the party. I was watching him a bit throughout the night and he was starting at this girls boobs, wasn't saying anything creepy. He was being himself and looked comfortable. I was very proud of the boy! AHHH the fun of living in an apartment.

I am very pleased to report that when I got home on Saturday from my short one mile run, I weighed myself and I am very pleased to announce that this little boy is now under 200 Lbs. with a weight of 197.5 Very exciting for me. That puts me at a total loss of 30.5 Lbs.

I have signed up for my second 5k of the year. I will be running with work for the "JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge" Always a fun time. It was a good weekend.
