Apperantly I'm too happy when I write in my livejournal
Since the apperant rule when writing live journals is to be bitchy and whiny as I was told. I'm going to do that. Last night I went to go see Anna Nalick, which by the way was really good. Park West... Excellent venue. Very Pleased with it. But leaving there made me want to start a band again soooooo bad. I just want to meet a group of musicians that are at my skill level or better that want the same things that I do out of a band. Thats not too much to ask is it. Man I tell you, finding a band is sometimes harder then finding a g/f. That I can do. Band not so easy. And Y can't the weather get better so I can take over the garage. Maybe if I had the opportunity to practice my drums again, when I did go out to audition for a new band, they would see that talent I actually have, not the crap I play because I haven't had the opportunity to practice all winter. I want to play more venues like Park West. I want to play at COD again for an Alter Ego. I want to meet bands are share the stage with more famous musicians. I don't need to tour the US although that would be cool and I would do it. but I do want to play out at least 3 times a month. Well heres to searching. With spring should come some more motivation and I will hit up the entertainer and suburban night life again. Maybe I will take out my own personal add space and let bands call me. That could be worth it. I think its worth a try. I will do it!
